Bio: I started road cycling in 2008 when I went to college. I went to school in Greenville, SC where the cycling community is pretty large. I had, and still have fun gaining experience from people in that community. I did my first race at the end of 2008 and was pretty much hooked after that. Since then I’ve spent a lot of my energy playing bicycle.
I like every type of race especially ones with nice scenery and big crowds. Time trialing is my least favorite race because I believe I’m TERRIBLE at them. Big Crits are exciting and get me pretty fired up. Oatmeal, eggs, bananas and tea is a favorite pre-ride breakfast right now. Mountains are my favorite place to train. Collegiate racing is a ball and has taught me a bunch. I like playing ping pong a lot (this is what collegiate racing has taught me). And finally, I’m really stoked to be a part of Team Athletix benefiting Globalbike, we have equally great sponsors and riders – a good thing all the way around!
